On 7 March, ALDE Party member party MR (Belgium) organised the online event “European Ukraine: situation and implications” hosted by the Councillor in the City of Brussels Céline Vivier, and the participation of ALDE Party´s Deputy Secretary General Didrik de Schaetzen.

On behalf of ALDE Party, De Schaetzen took stock of the situation of the liberal parties in Ukraine and on how to participate in the mutual aid movements. The event focused on the consequences of the membership application of Ukraine to the EU and on what extend this would modify the fate and the way of working of the Union in the future.
