Last week, Matej Hruska joined the ALDE Party Secretariat as Data Analyst. In this position, he will be part of the Research and Empowerment Unit, to which he will provide support through data research and analysis, and where he will develop new analytics and database solutions.

Matej has previously worked as a researcher at a university in Slovakia, specialising in quantitative political science and methods. He was also an advisor to a regional president.

He is focused on cross-national surveys, survey experiments and extracting information from data for better decision making. He is a skeptical fan of all things quantitative and looks forward to applying this attitude in ALDE Party.
