From 9 to 12 February the ALDE Party brought together 15 rising stars from ALDE member parties for the first session of our 2017 European Women’s Academy of political leadership and campaigning.
The ALDE Party’s European Women’s Academy (EWA) is a state of the art training programme for female politicians aimed at inspiring and enriching them with the knowledge and tools to win their upcoming elections and becoming more influential in politics. This first session focused on targets and strategy on how to set goals in politics.
ALDE Party Vice President Angelika Mlinar MEP opened the first session of the EWA by giving an inspiring and motivational speech on her experiences on how she got into politics and her rise to being elected as a Member of the European Parliament.
The female politicians will meet for 2 more sessions over the course of this year in April and in June in which they will continue their training in campaigning tactics and tools.
