Party Leader: Jordi Gallardo Fernández

The party was established as the Liberal Union (Unió Liberal) in 1992 by Marc Forné Molné, the third prime minister of Andorra. The year after its founding it received 22% of the vote, gaining five seats in the General Council, making it the second largest party. In 2011 they became Liberales de Andorra.

Its current leader, Jordi Gallardo Fernàndez, was Minister of Economy in Andorra from 2019 to 2023.
