As an EU citizen you are granted the same rights and protections, no matter who you are or where you are from because of the primacy of EU Law. 

Sadly, last week in Poland, a controversial ruling by the Constitutional Tribunal, filled with politically-appointed judges and intervening on a politically-motivated case brought by the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, decided that the same law should not apply to all, declaring the primacy of Polish law over EU law.

Polish citizens quickly took to the streets in record numbers to defend our common EU values.

Our liberal MEPs demand this be addressed urgently in the European Parliament. 
They will take the floor in the debate to condemn these action.
They will demand the European Commission to take prompt action to ensure that Poland keeps the commitments it made when it joined the EU.

Help our liberal MEPs convince the European Commision, to use all available tools including triggering the rule of law conditionality mechanism and refraining from approving the Polish Recovery and Resilience Plan until it is certain that the EU's fundamental values and laws are upheld in Poland.
