Radicali Italiani

Party Leader: Matteo Hallissey

Radicali Italiani is an Italian liberal movement founded in 2001. Its principles are the defence of rule of law and democracy, gandhian nonviolence, secularity of the state and freedom of religion, European federalism, environmentalism and anti-prohibitionism. Their political action is based on the promotion of civil and human rights, the defence of the Constitution's principles through participatory democracy and the proposal of a comprehensive reform of justice.

In January 2024, Radicali members elected Matteo Hallissey as the party's secretary, making him the youngest leader of a parliamentary party in Italy at 20 years of age.
