On 14-15 September, Renew Europe CoR will hold its 2023 Summit of Young Elected Local and Regional Leaders at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels. The event is a dynamic forum where young liberal and democrat politicians can engage and exchange innovative ideas and exemplary approaches.

The high-level Summit will be packed with information and networking opportunities. Travel and accommodation will be covered for selected participants on a first-come, first-served basis and to a certain limit. 

Participants will arrive on Thursday 14 September for an informal networking followed by a dinner. The following day, the event at the European Committee of the Regions will feature an interactive session, summit, and an exchange of practices on a topic selected by the participants.

Young (18-35 years old) local and regional politicians with an elected mandate, either in government or in opposition, and belonging to Renew Europe caucus youth movements are encouraged to apply. The project is aimed at local and regional liberal and democrat politicians with leadership experience. In the application form, please indicate other leadership positions you retain, if any.

The Summit was first launched in 2017 building upon the accomplishments of its Liberal Mayors Summits in collaboration with Renew Europe, pan-European youth movements such as YDE and LYMEC. You can see the highlights from the 2019 summit here.
