Following on from the success of the previous Young Elected Local and Regional Leaders Summits that took place in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Renew Europe Group in the European Committee of the Regions (Renew Europe CoR) has yet again teamed up with European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) and Young Democrats for Europe (YDE) to organise the fourth summit. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the event will take place online.

The Summit provides an opportunity for young liberal democrat local and regional elected leaders to meet and share ideas and best practices among themselves. 

We encourage all young local and regional elected leaders to apply if:

• You are between 18 and 35
• Hold an elected mandate at local or regional level
• hold a position of responsibility either in government or in opposition

DEADLINE for registrations is 11 September 2020.

Places are limited (5 applications per member organisation) and selection will be carried out by Renew Europe CoR based on experience, and with a view to ensuring geographical, policy and gender balance. The draft agenda and confirmations will be sent in early September.
