On 18 February, ALDE Party Vice President Dita Charanzová and Renew Europe Group President Dacian Cioloș hosted a caucasus meeting in the margins of the European Parliamentary week to discuss the EU’s economic policy.
Renew Europe & ALDE Party Vice-President and Economy Professor Luis Garicano MEP was among the key speakers at the event.
In the form of a working lunch, ministers, members of national parliaments as well as MEPs from the liberal family discussed key issues related to the EU’s global role, the future of EU budget and the economic and social policies for the Green Deal.
“Too often the EU is seen as a payer instead of a player,” Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Cooperation Alexander De Croo highlighted during the meeting.
