The Democratic Party of Luxembourg has announced its list of six candidates for the European elections.
With a shared motto “Social. Liberal. European.”, Charles Goerens MEP heads the list, followed by Monica Semedo.
Speaking at the party’s European Congress of 16 March, party leader Corinne Cahen emphasised the importance of Europe being a future project in which social and liberal values are of high value.
This message was also echoed by the country’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel who said that for Europe to work better, it needs to be better organised: "We must ensure that Europe is better organised today, so that Europe works better tomorrow!"
