On Monday 10 September we hosted a Liberal breakfast together with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Europe in Brussels to discuss about the outcome of the Swedish elections the morning after.
The speakers were representatives from our two member parties in Sweden: Thomas Grönberg from Liberalerna and Joakim Bogdanoff from Centerpartiet. The event was chaired by Anna Abrahamsson, ALDE Party's Events & Fundraising Policy Officer.
The panel celebrated the good results obtained by Liberalerna and Centerpartiet and analysed the chances of a formation of a new government with the liberals on board. The coalition negotiations are expected to be long and challenging. You can read more about the concrete election results here.
