Over 700 members and candidates of ALDE member Union Save Romania (USR) gathered in Sibiu, Romania to attend the 2-day Teambuilding event organised by the party’s leader Dan Barna on 24-26 January.

Throughout the two days, a series of workshops on different topics, including the evolution of liberal parties, the essence and values of liberalism, political communication and successful examples of party campaigns, were held.

Representatives from the liberal family included, among others, ALDE Vice-President Henrik Bach Mortensen; Daniel Kaddik, Executive Director from the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and Raimar Wagner from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF).

At the opening session, ALDE Vice-President Henrik Bach Mortensen highlighted the success of liberal parties in the Central-Eastern European region and stressed that “liberals must work together to make our liberal voice heard”.
