Earlier this week, we welcomed Raphael Velez to the ALDE Party Secretariat! Raphael will start his traineeship at the Communications & Events Unit, focusing on the upcoming ALDE eCongress, and then continues to support the Policy & Membership Affairs Unit.
Raphael, who is of French and British origin but has lived and studied in Canada, has previously worked as a political advisor. He studied Political Science at the Concordia University in Montreal.
Over the summer, Raphael looks forward to “working with the team to deliver a successful congress in June and to support the party’s work and research on a variety of topics”.
