Svenja Hahn MEP was re-elected as ALDE Party President at the ALDE Party Congress in Vienna on 4 July 2026, having first assumed the role in 2024.
A Member of the European Parliament since 2019, Hahn has held different roles in the European liberal family, including the president of ALDE Party’s young wing LYMEC. Hahn expressed her commitment to continued ambition as President and excitement to continue to work together with the ALDE Party family.

Delegates also elected six candidates for the role of ALDE Party Vice-President:
- Yevheniia Kravchuk (Servant of the People, Ukraine)
- Yoko Alender (Eesti Reformierakond, Estonia)
- Fatimazhra Belhirch (D66, Netherlands)
- Julie Smith (Liberal Democrats, UK)
- Lucia Plaváková (Progresívne Slovensko, Slovakia)
- Jouni Ovaska (Keskusta, Finland)
