2025 was a defining year for European liberals, marked by major electoral milestones across Member States and a continued commitment to defending democratic values in an increasingly challenging geopolitical context.

The ALDE Party Congress in Brussels brought liberals together to set out a clear vision for Europe’s future as a superpower. Another major milestone was the 10th anniversary of the Alliance Of Her, which celebrated a decade of advancing women’s political leadership across Europe.
