The Alliance Party, founded in 1970, is a political party in Northern Ireland. The party was born with the aim to heal the bitter divisions in their community and promote partnership and reconciliation between people from different backgrounds. Alliance stands for a shared society which is free from intimidation, discrimination, and fear and has been campaigning to build a united community for all people, firmly based on the highest standards of individual rights. Lead by Naomi Long MLA, the party is currently the fifth largest in Northern Ireland.
