Join us in welcoming Cathal Kennedy to the ALDE Party Secretariat, where he joined as a communications intern this month.
He will immerse himself in the workings of the European Union and its institutions, gaining invaluable firsthand experience in political communications.
He previously served as a press officer in the Ministerial office of former ALDE Party Co-President Timmy Dooley, supporting communications and stakeholder engagement. As an editorial assistant with the ALDE Party Communications team, he will further develop his knowledge, research and communication skills on EU-related matters.
Cathal holds a BA in Anthropology from University College Cork (UCC) and an MA in Anthropology from Queen's University Belfast (QUB).
He is passionate about public affairs, particularly using strategic communications to engage stakeholders and citizens and highlight the work of elected officials.
