On 29 September, ALDE Party welcomed Élisabeth Caron to the ALDE Party Secretariat as our new social media trainee, part of the Communications & Events unit.

Originally from Quebec, Canada, Élisabeth recently completed an internship in the social media and web team at the United Nations Regional Information Centre in Brussels. Alongside this, she has been completing a triple Master’s degree in international political communication and democratic risks at Sciences Po Aix in France, Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium and Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Université de Montreal and has previously spent a semester abroad at the Université libre de Bruxelles.

Before joining us, Élisabeth gained valuable experience working for a liberal government in Canada, where she served as the Communications Assistant in the riding of Gatineau to the current Government House Leader and Minister of Transport, the Honourable Steven MacKinnon.

With a strong passion for digital communication and European politics, Élisabeth is eager to contribute to promoting liberal and democratic values in Europe through ALDE Party's social media platforms.
