The next edition of the Summit of Young Elected Local and Regional Leaders (YELL) will take place on 24-25 September at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels.
The two-day event, co-organised with youth organisations such as the European Liberal Youth (LYMEC), brings together young liberal-democrat politicians aged 18-35 with elected mandates and leadership responsibilities to connect, exchange ideas and shape the future of local and regional governance.
The 2025 edition will focus on the theme “Housing: Bridging Perspectives”. Participants will engage in discussions about the complex housing issues affecting young people today – both personally and in their roles as local or regional decision-makers.
Candidates must be aged between 18 and 35, hold an elected mandate at local or regional level, and have a leadership role – either in government or opposition – within the Renew Europe political family.
For those selected, travel and accommodation will be covered for selected participants, subject to a financial ceiling and availability on a first-come, first-served basis. For further information or clarification, contact andreea.colintineanu@cor.europa.eu.
