The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE Party) is part of the third largest European political family, bringing together parties with common liberal, democrat and reform ideas from more than 30 European countries. The Brussels-based ALDE Party Secretariat supports the activities of the Party; organizes its meetings; manages its external communication; and facilitates European policy development and networking amongst liberal parties. To support our growing activities, we are now seeking:

Accounting and auditing services

The purpose of the tender is to provide the ALDE Party with a framework contract for the provision of off-site services in accounting and auditing matters. A description of the services to-be provided can be found below:

• Bookkeeping and accounting (digitised/off-site)
• Assistance in the preparation of the European Parliament’s audit (Belgian GAPP)
• Assistance in the preparation of the audit (IFRS)
• Preparation of the annual tax declaration IPM and management report
• Drafting and filing quarterly VAT return
• Preparation of the annual closing of the accounts
• Processing of purchases and sales invoices, banks, salaries, and depreciation
• Preparation of the monthly report (comparison with the annual budget)
• Advice on fiscal and accounting matters
• Drafting and filling of the annual accounts for the BNB (Banque Nationale de Belgique)
• Support on the preparation of the internal accounts
• Monitoring of unpaid memberships

Provider’s profile:

• More than 10 years of experience in the area of auditing and accounting services
• A strong background and the ability to prove a track record of work with a variety of clients
• Previous work within the frame of European political parties/non-profit organisations will be considered an asset
• Language requirements: French and English
