Climate Emergency: why the European Union would not intervene?

The meeting is organized in partnership :
ALDE Party IM/ Délégation France-Sud , Union des Fédéralistes Européens/PACA , Rencontres Européennes and ADCE
The title of this meeting is deliberately provocative, because the urgency is real and visible.
Two round tables:
-The erosion of the Mediterranean coasts: What can the European Union do?
This round table is head by Mr. Frédéric Poitou, (European Judicial Expert). He will present as a typical example the case of the Camargue threatened with extinction and, futur area of the first European climatic refugees, because of the rising waters in the next 15 years.
- The role of cities in sustainable development.
This round table is head by Mr. Pedro Albuquerque, teacher at the KEDGE Business School of Aix-en-Provence, specialized in sustainable development issues.
Round-table heads will be surrounded by experts, elected officials and candidates.
Candidates to the European Parliament, political parties and others will present their European climate programmes.
A written summary of this morning will be realized.
The debates will be in French only.
