The Democratic Party of Kosovo (Partia Demokratike e Kosovës, PDK) was established on in October 1999 in the immediate aftermath of the war in Kosovo. The party is committed to establishing a sustainable, professional and efficient national security system in cooperation with the European Union, NATO, the United States of America, neighbouring countries and countries of the region to enable a sustainable security environment for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
