The Alliance Of Her Women in Politics Champion of the Year Award is given each year to an individual or organisation that has made an important and exceptional contribution to the promotion of liberal women in politics in a given year. Nominations are now open for this year’s award.  

Nominations are considered based on their proven track record and passion for:

• fighting for gender equality by promoting liberal women in politics; 
• embodying the vision, mission and values of the Alliance of Her;
• making powerful contributions to achieving real changes for women in politics on the local, national, European or international level. 

Previous award recipients include Sabina Ćudić of Naša stranka, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021, and Kira Rudik of Golos Party, Ukraine in 2022.  

The deadline for nominations is Friday 25 August 2023. The award will be announced and presented to the recipient at the Alliance Of Her Alumnae and Allies Summit later this year.
