Liberals promote equality, which allows people to make their own choices on how to live their lives. Therefore, we demand an immediate end to salary and employment discrimination based on gender. There should be equal pay for equal jobs, and the possibility to combine a successful career with raising children. Gender equality is a cornerstone of modern liberal societies and we will continue to resolve the remaining inequalities across Europe.
