Negotiations are still under way about the future name, structure and mission of the new political group to be formed by member parties of ALDE, Renaissance from France and 2020 USR – PLUS from Romania. Delegation leaders of the currently 108-MEPs-strong group have agreed to elect the new Group President and Vice-Presidents on 19th June. The new group - foreseen to be the third biggest after the EPP and S&D - will be presented to the public during the first plenary session of the mandate between 2-4 July in Strasbourg.
