At the invitation of Guy Verhofstadt MEP, Leader of the ALDE Group in the European Parliament, Hans van Baalen MEP, President of the ALDE Party and François Bayrou, President of the European Democrat Party, liberal Prime Ministers, European Commissioners, party leaders and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the liberal family met at the Egmont Palace in Brussels on Thursday 28 June ahead of the European Council Summit of the same day.
