Last week, we welcomed Dorin Frăsîneanu as ALDE Party’s new Policy Officer, part of the Policy & Membership Affairs Unit.
Dorin will be responsible for monitoring political and key policy developments, facilitate the exchange of policy ideas and best practices among member parties, shaping and promoting ALDE Party’s narrative, presence, and influence on the European stage.
Born and raised in Moldova, Dorin studied law, politics, international relations and EU affairs in the United Kingdom, France, Russia and Belgium.
He has previous experience at the European Commission and Moldovan government, having covered a foreign policy adviser role in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita.
“ALDE Party’s steadfast commitment to upholding individual liberties, the rule of law, nurturing innovation, and fostering cooperation resonates deeply with my values, and I am thrilled to join the Secretariat,” said Dorin.
“As we navigate through this crucial electoral year, I am looking forward to contributing to ensure that the liberal voice remains resoundingly strong within the European Parliament.”
