Later today, the new President of the United States will be inaugurated with Joe Biden taking office as the 46th President of the United States and Kamala Harris as the first female Vice President.
After taking office, the new President will, among other things, abolish the entry ban introduced by Donald Trump for residents of some countries and rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement. Furthermore, President Biden will take more measures when it comes to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, including the requirement to wear face masks in government buildings, the temporary prohibition of evictions and the suspension of study debt payments.
