A new generation of liberal women leaders is ready to step up.
The Alliance Of Her Academy 2026 came to a close this weekend, as 22 liberal women leaders from 22 parties across 18 countries graduated from the final session at Domaine de Ronchinne in Belgium.
Their graduation marked the end of a year-long journey that brought the participants together across three sessions to build their leadership skills, develop their personal political strategies and learn the tools they need to succeed in politics.

Between sessions, they put that learning into practice, returning with new questions, new ideas and sharper plans. By the final session, the focus was on taking everything they had built during the Academy and bringing it back to their communities and political work.
But the Academy is about more than skills. It is about building a community of women who can support, challenge and champion one another long after the programme ends. The Class of 2026 now joins the Alliance Of Her alumnae network of almost 400 women across Europe.

The final session also brought a reminder that the network is always growing. Raquel Garcia Hermida-van der Walle MEP, an Alliance Of Her alumna from the Class of 2022, returned to share her experience with the next generation of liberal women leaders.
Now in its 11th year, the Alliance Of Her continues to invest in women who are ready to lead, succeed and shape the future of liberal politics.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Their journey with Alliance Of Her may be ending, but this is only the beginning.

The Alliance Of Her Academy benefits from generous support of our partners, including the European Parliament. As such, all participants must meet strict eligibility criteria, in addition to demonstrating clear leadership talent and ambition. Participants are also informed of the prohibition to run in an election campaign during the academy or up to 12 months after the termination of the program. If this condition is not respected, participants will be required to cover costs independently or with a ‘substantial’ contribution from their political party.
