Earlier this spring, we launched a design contest at the initiative of Belgian Minister Denis Ducarme, focused on finding a symbol against the extremes.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the original deadline of 3 May has been postponed to 2 June.
How to participate? It's easy!
STEP 1: submit your design by e-mail before 2 June 2020 at 12h00 CEST.
Create and design a symbol that unites all Europeans who don’t believe in the simple solutions offered by populist parties and submit it to us via [email protected] by 2 June 12h00 (CEST).
STEP 2: the international jury will select three finalists to be announced on Monday 15 June 2020
Our jury will be composed of Minister Denis Ducarme, a young Belgian artist and a Member of the European Parliament, who will select three of the best designs. The finalist will be announced on Monday 15 June 2020 and displayed at the ALDE Party Secretariat and on our social media channels.
The three finalists will receive book prizes.
STEP 3: online vote on the winning design
The final winner will be decided by an online vote on social media where everyone can vote for their favourite between 15 and 24 June. The winner will be announced on 25 June 2020.
What’s there to win?
The winner, together with one guest, will be invited to join the ALDE Party Congress in Stockholm, Sweden in December 2020. Travel costs and two nights of accommodation will be covered.
