Fianna Fáil, founded as an Irish republican party in 1926, is a liberal and centre-right political party committed to building An Ireland For All. Fianna Fáil advocates for the reunification of Ireland by peaceful means, the creation of a self-sustaining country, and the strengthening of Ireland, and believes that the government should have an active role in the economic development. Fianna Fáil has dominated the Irish political life for many years and currently, is one of the biggest political forces in Ireland.
