On 18-19 March, the European Committee of the Regions will host the 10th Summit of Cities and Regions in Mons, Belgium.
The event will feature several sessions with high-level speakers from our political family, including Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, Renew Europe President Valérie Hayer and Renew Europe CoR President François Decoster.
Thousands of mayors, councillors, regional ministers and key policy-makers will also join the debate on the challenges and solutions for the future of Europe.
This year’s Summit will bring a new perspective on democracy, sustainable development, the future of the EU and its enlargement, the need to ensure social, economic and territorial cohesion, and dealing with the consequences of Putin’s war of aggression in Ukraine.
On 18 March, Renew Europe CoR will hold a study visit to the unique Mons Memorial Museum, bringing together Renew Europe CoR members, liberal and democrat Young Elected Politicians and EU councillors to exchange best practices and create new networks.
If you are an EU Councillor or Young Elected Politician in an EU Member State, find out how to apply to join the study trip here.
