Kaja Kallas re-elected leader of Reform Party in Estonia

During the Reform Party Assembly held on 14 November, Kaja Kallas received a renewed mandate to lead the party. A new 17-member party board was also elected, with the new composition of the board available here. Moreover, three representatives of the regions were elected to the board of the Reform Party.

In a statement following her re-election, Kallas reflected on her journey as the party’s leader and thanked her team, saying:

“When I took up this post two and a half years ago, my primary task was to form a united force from the differences that prevailed in the party. And the second task was to win two elections. We did these tasks. There was tension, effort and argument. But we saved and did it together. Today we have a strong, cohesive and competent team. Our politicians and political program found widespread support in society. And this support has not disappeared since the elections. On the contrary, it is stronger than ever.”

“We will continue to fight for Estonia to be not only economically prosperous, but also a free, open, peaceful, democratic, secure and happy country. A land where each other is respected and each other's feelings are respected. A land where people dare to dream. A land where we are once again proud of our country,” she concluded her statement.
