Laisvės partija is a brand new liberal political start-up in Lithuania, launched in 2019 by MP Aušrinė Armonaitė and Mayor of Vilnius Remigijus Šimašius. The party counts over 3000 members and 2000 friends of the party. It is the only growing political movement in Lithuania.

Laisvės partija is unapologetically liberal, with no "ifs" or "buts". The party's ideological platform is built on three pillars - human rights, innovative economy and education for the future. After facing its first ever Parliamentary elections in 2020, the party is now is aiming to speak loud and clear about marriage equality, decriminalisation of soft drugs, building an education system for the XXI century and rebooting the country's economy so it can be both green and innovative.
