Liberali Democratici Europei ("European Liberal Democrats", LDE), also stylised as libdem europei, is a liberal political party formed in Italy on 14 January 2023 by Giuseppe Benedetto, Alessandro De Nicola, Oscar Giannino and Sandro Gozi. Led by Andrea Marcucci and Piero Cecchinato, LDE aim to unite various Italian liberal factions for the upcoming European elections under a single list.
The party was conceived to to foster a singular Italian liberal entity promoting democratic and competitive ideologies and aims to offer a credible alternative to the destabilising forces of populism, advocating for a European vision that's liberal, progressive, and committed to ecological sustainability.
