On 27 February, The Paddy Ashdown Forum is hosting a conference to commemorate the work of Paddy Ashdown, who would have turned 80 years on the same day.
The two-part conference is focused on his life and legacy to European politics, with themes ranging from the political future of the Balkan region to digitalisation, climate emergency and climate justice, to name just a few.
ALDE Party Vice-Presidents Ilhan Kyuchyuk MEP and Baroness Sal Brinton, leader of ALDE Party member Liberal Democrats Sir Ed Davey, LYMEC President Antoaneta Asenova and Monika Zajkova MP, who is also European Women’s Academy alumna, are among the distinguished panel of speakers.
