On 4 December, Ministers from our political family met in Brussels to discuss the upcoming Transport Council of the European Union.
During the meeting chaired by Renew Europe Vice-President Iskra Mihaylova MEP, from ALDE Party member MRF in Bulgaria, Ministers discussed key issues on land transport, road and maritime safety.
In particular, Ministers discussed reforms to EU legislation covering driving licenses, cross-border information exchange on road safety-related offenses, greenhouse gas emissions in transport services and a progress report on revised directives for heavy-duty vehicles.
ALDE Party continues working for a coordinated, determined, rapid and wide-ranging EU-wide response to decarbonise all types of transport, making use of all clean and innovative technologies available.
