On 18 February, Belgian ALDE member party Mouvement Réformateur (MR) published its electoral lists for the European, federal and regional elections. The Belgian federal and regional elections will be held on the same day as the European elections, on 26 May.
The list for the European elections is headed by Olivier Chastel. Chastel announced at the party Council that he would give up the party presidency to fully focus on his electoral campaign. The presidency will be taken over by Charles Michel, Prime Minister of Belgium.
The second candidate of MR for the European elections is a sitting MEP Frédérique Ries.
