This month, the ALDE Party Secretariat welcomed a new Digital Communications Manager to the team: David Vidal Sans from Spain has joined the ALDE Party Communications & Events Unit to cover Iiris André during her maternity leave. Vidal’s role is to grow and maintain ALDE Party’s communications, including social media, web content and relations with media partners, and coordinate the content of the weekly newsletter and the biannual Liberal Bulletin and more. One of his biggest challenges will be coordinating the communications of the upcoming ALDE Congress 2022 in Dublin.

David holds a degree in Media and a postgraduate in Community Management and Social Media and has worked for several media outlets including radio, television and digital publications. Over the past four years he has worked for the Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament, first as press officer and later as Social Media Manager working closer to our ALDE Party MEPs and delegations.
