Nowoczesna runs in coalition for general elections

On 13 October, Poland will go to the polls and elect the 460 members of the Sejm (Polish Parliament) as well as the 100 members of the Senate.

At the moment, Nowoczesna – an ALDE Party member since June 2016 – is represented in the Polish parliament by 14 MPs and has no representation in the Senate. In these elections, the party runs as part of the Civic Coalition, an electoral alliance originally created for the 2018 local elections by Nowoczesna and Civic Platform. In these general elections, the electoral alliance also includes the Greens and Polish Initiative.

Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will be the coalition’s leading Prime Minister candidate. Nowoczesna’s leader Katarzyna Lubnauer is running in the district of Warsaw and Secretary General Adam Szlapka is running in the Poznan district.

You can see more information about the Nowoczesna candidates in their website and the full list of Civic Coalition candidates here.
