On Wednesday 19 September, all paid-up individual members have received two voting ballots, for the election of the individual members' ALDE Party Council delegate and for the by-election to choose a new individual members' Steering Committee member. Check your inbox! You have until Wednesday 27 September 10h00 CET to vote.
These elections are held, as during the ALDE Congress in Madrid, the ALDE Council - ALDE Party’s second-highest decision-making body - will meet to discuss matters such as applications for membership by national political parties, membership fees, the party’s annual budget and accounts. Individual members are represented in the ALDE Party Council by one elected Council delegate.
Also, following the resignation of Chris Pyak in June, the Steering Committee is seeking reinforcement.
