Commenting on the recent coalition agreement of four parties around a government led by Janez Jansa in Slovenia, ALDE Party President Hans van Baalen commented:
“The ALDE Party has followed political developments in Slovenia with great interest. The ALDE can and will not prescribe its member parties whether or not to join a coalition led by Janez Jansa (SDS - EPP).
However, if endorsed by Parliament, the ALDE Party will closely monitor the legislation, actions and statements of the new Slovenian government and of its coalition partners.”
