Reformierakond re-elect Kallas as party leader

At a party Congress on 18 November, ALDE Party member Eesti Reformierakond confirmed the composition of its new party board and the re-election of Prime Minister Kaja Kallas as party leader.

Kallas received 636 votes from party members and was re-elected as leader for a further two-year term, continuing in the role she took over in 2018.

“I am very pleased to have been re-elected as the leader of the Reform Party. I believe in Estonia and I also believe that Estonia needs the Reform Party,” said Prime Minister Kallas.

“I work hard to keep Estonia's image strong and maintain strong ties with our allies and close friends, so that we are never alone again. These are the reasons why I want to continue to be the leader of the Reform Party and Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia.”

Members also voted to elect all members of the party board, which includes 17 members together with the leader of the party.

On the proposal of Prime Minister Kallas, the board confirmed Jürgen Ligi, Hanno Pevkur and Maris Lauri as vice-chairs of the party.
