On 18 July, the Alliance Of Her documentary film She Will Be Heard: The Movie was screened at the Women Deliver 2023 Arts and Film Festival in Kigali, Rwanda. Over 6,000 visitors attended the event, while tens of thousands followed the virtual Conference remotely. 

Part of the Women Deliver 2023 Conference, the Festival features original productions, artwork and stories behind Women Deliver’s mission of improving the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women. More information is available on WD2023’s website.

ALDE Party was represented at the event in Rwanda by its Vice-President Kira Rudik, MP and leader of Golos party in Ukraine, and Yevheniia Kravchuk, Ukrainian MP from ALDE Party member Sluga Narodu and Vice-President of ALDE Group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Released in May, She Will Be Heard: The Movie follows the political journeys of three young liberal women - Aoife McCooey (Ireland), Katrīna Ruzaiķe (Latvia) and Elena Buratti (Italy) – and highlights how, through passion and determination, they make their voices heard.
