The Green Liberal Party (GLP), also known as the Green Liberals, is a progressive Swiss political party that seeks to connect liberal economic and social policies with environmental goals and principles of sustainability. The GLP believes in getting things done through cooperation across the political spectrum while remaining faithful to its principles.
It is unequivocally pro-European, defending international cooperation and multilateralism, particularly at the European level, as it feels it is the only way to tackle global challenges. It believes Switzerland’s strong and active involvement in key policy areas such as the single market or the European Research Area is vital for the country’s future and prosperity.
