On 19-20 January, the ALDE Party held two Mini EWA sessions in Finland together with the women’s branch of the Swedish People’s Party, Svenska Kvinnoförbundet.

The trainings were held in Helsinki on 19 January and in Vaasa on 20 January. The trainings included sessions on campaign planning and strategy, social media and communication, negotiation skills and fundraising. The participants of the training included female liberal candidates as well as campaign managers who are running in the upcoming spring elections in Finland.

The Mini EWAs run alongside the ALDE Party’s European Women’s Academy programme, designed to empower women running for political office. The Mini EWAs are standalone trainings that provide women with tools and skills for running successful electoral campaigns.
