Party Leader: Praxoula Antoniadou

United Democrats is founded in 1993 by former President of Cyprus, George Vasiliou. Since March 2007 Praxoula Antoniadou took over leadership of the party and took office as Minister for Commerce, Industry and Tourism in the period 2011-2012. United Democrats are also an observer member of the Liberal International.
