European liberals adopted their manifesto for the 2024 European elections at ALDE Party’s Extraordinary Congress on 20 March.
The document entitled “Your Europe, Your Freedom: Delivering change for you” sets the vision of ALDE Party and its members for the next European mandate set to begin in June and lasting for the next five years.

As @ALDEParty VP it was my pleasure to have chaired the process & worked alongside the fantastic team. Together we ensured to deliver a manifesto that delivers solutions for the priorities of European citizens. pic.twitter.com/m3HGc2PC8j
The Manifesto is spearheaded on three key pillars:
- Keep Europe free, safe and democratic: Help Ukraine win the war, enhance our defence capabilities and economic security for Europe’s increased independence.
- Boost economic growth for your freedom: lnvest in your skills as well as digital and sustainable technologies to create jobs, reduce our dependencies and decouple growth from the use of natural resources, rising negative climate and health impacts.
- Earn your trust through action and reform: Give you a say in how your country and Europe are run and create efficient and transparent institutions, holding accountable those that breach the law.
Our proposals aim to make Europe more sustainable, safe, free, competitive and fair for all. Read them in full here.
🇪🇺 Your Europe, Your Freedom.

The adoption of the 2024 Manifesto is the culmination of over a year of consultation among ALDE Party members, civil society, citizens and stakeholders, led by ALDE Party Vice-President Svenja Hahn MEP (FDP, DE).
ALDE Party took on board feedback from citizens through an online consultation process and a Manifesto town hall series that saw us touch down in Latvia, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria, Portugal and Lithuania throughout summer and autumn 2023.
